Wheelwright of Ogden, are announcing the marriage mar-riage of their ciauMter, Annie, to William D. Buckley, son of Mrs. Minnie A. Taji.ur of Provo. The ceremony was performed Thursday, Dee. 22, at the Wheelwright Wheel-wright home in Ogden, P.ishop David J. Wilson performing the ceremony. Thv bridal party stood before the mantle, which was lighted by green tapers. A beautiful gown of beige lace ovei gie n satin was worn b the bride, and the maid of honor. Miss Laurene iloioerg. was attird in blue georgette. A. Dewey Wheelwright, Wheel-wright, a biother oi the bride, acted act-ed as best man. Aft.er the ceremony, a well appointed ap-pointed wedding dinner was seived to 12 guests. The table was centered center-ed with a small Christmas tree, lighted with candles and six can dles in crystal holders were at either eith-er end of the table. Numerous handsome gifts were deceived. The bride is a graduate of the B. 'Y. U. and a member of the Gamma Phi Omicron sorority. Mr. Buekley is a former student of the 'Y' and was a member of the wrestling wrest-ling team while in school. At the present time he is employed by the Columbia Steel company. ,Mr. and Mrs. Buckley will re- 'side in Provo. Relief Society Programs FIRST WARD The social service committee of the First ward Relief society will have charge of the meeting Tuesday Tues-day at 2:30 o'clock in the ward chapel. Mrs. Pvuby Nuttall will give the lesson "How the Facts Raise Problems." Prob-lems." Three violin solos will be furnished by Dorell Wilde, accompanied accom-panied by Russell Carr. FOURTH WARD A Christmas party and literary program will feature Tuesday's entertainment en-tertainment at the Fourth ward Relief society,- meeting at 2:30 u'clock In the Ward t:hpel. -Got t he's Faust" will be reviewed review-ed by Mrs. Christen Jensen. Mrs. George W. Worthen will talk on Goethe's life. Appropriate music will be furnished by the ladies' chorus and Mrs.vR. Gam Clark, in costume, will gie, vocal numbers from Gounod's opera "Faust". Refreshments will be served. The public is invited. Young Couple Honored At Reception A large crowd was in attendance at the wedding reception tendered Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Wilkinson in the Vineyard ward amusement hal' i'riday evening, by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wilkinson of Vineyard, pai-ents pai-ents of t he groo' i. The bride was formerly Mary Poulson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Poulson of Oiem. Dancing was the main diversion, during which two vocal duets were rendered by Charles and Verla Wilkinson and a leading was given by Charles Wilkinson. A tast tray luncheon was served to 350 relatives and friends. Numerous useful and beautiful gifts were presented to the young couple. Young Folks At Gay Yuletide Party Members of the Intermediate Christian Endeavor society of the Community ch'urch enjoyed their annual Christmas party Friday evening, the delightful affair being held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Lawrence. The entertaining rooms were gay with Christmas colors and emblems, em-blems, including a large tree. Dur ing the evening. Miss Virgie Bee-lar, Bee-lar, superintendent, presented a C. E. Eversharp pencifi to Thelma Harris, winner of a contest recently recent-ly held. Delicious refreshments were served and Christmas gifts were exchanged. Steele Bailey was in charge of arrangements. Parker were called to Hooper last week due to the death of Mr. Parker's mother, Mrs. Lorinda Eliza Parker, who died Tuesday night. Funeral services serv-ices were held in Hooper Friday. Mrs. Alex Karren and children of American Fcrk, were visitors in Provo Friday, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. Will Jones. Mrs. Grace Williams has returned home from Salt Lake City where s'he has been spending the past two weeks with her mother, Mrs. Louise McBride. Ned Ostler of Clear Creek, was a visitor in Provo Saturday. Robert Walden Larsen of Spanish Span-ish Fork, and Edith Pearl Shuler of Payson, were issued a marriage license at the county clerk's office Saturday. She is a member of the Val Norn social unit and the Ladies' Literary Liter-ary league. Mr. Hibbert is also a graduate of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university. He is employed in the office of the Union Oil company of Arizona. The young couple will make their home in Mesa. Ray was the scene of a quiet wedding Saturday evening, when their daughter, Dolly Moore, was united in marriage to Kenneth Southworth, son of Mrs. Daisy South'Aorth of San Francisco, Cal. The ceremony was performed at 8 o'clock in the presence of the immediate family members.
