"- rda : eg; 451-" ' 8.45 58.11 20.49 67A6 V0dAN MEETS SUDDEN DEATH Mrs. Juliet Ashton Roberts, 65, widow of Joseph Roberts, died suddenly sud-denly Friday night at 9:30 o'clock at her home, 148 West Fourth South street, following a heart attack. Mrs. Roberts had been in poor health for 14 years. According to members of the family, she was apparently in her usual fair health Friday evening. She prepared and ate dinner and about ' 9:30 o'clock she remarked to her son, Darold Roberts, that she "felt sort of faint." She slumped to the ground and died in his arms a few moments mo-ments later. She was born February 12, 1867, in Lehl, and had lived in Provo for 25 years. She was an active worker in the L. D. S. church before her health failed her. Mr. Roberts died 24 years ago. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Hyrum Ray, Leon, Leonard and Darold Roberts; Mrs. Mabel Ellison and Mrs. Mildred Sartor, Salt Lake; Mrs. Edith Skinner, Skin-ner, Bingham; Mrs. Emma Holden, Payson; Mrs. Juliet Allen, Spring-ville. Spring-ville. She also leaves two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Mary Rhodes, Rigby, Ida., Mrs. Agnes Clinton, Los Angeles and Frank Ashton, Hurricane. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 o'clock in the Sixth ward chapel in Provo. Bishop J. W. McAdam will be in charge. Interment will De in the Lehi cemetery. You And Your Friends DEATH CALLS YOUNG MOTHER Mrs Annie Priscilla Beck Rob erts; 25, wife of Elmer Roberts, died! suddenly early Saturday morning at the family home on Springville road, following a heart attack. The young wife and mother had been ill for the past year with heart trouble and complications. She was born December 3, 1906, in Palmyra, a daughter of Alfred Roger and Annie Elizabeth Johnson John-son Beck. She attended school in Spanish Fork and took an active part in L. D. S. church affairs of that community. She was especially especial-ly interested in music and art. She was married to Elmer Roberts on December 23, 1925, and had made her home in Provo since that time. Surviving, in addition to her husband hus-band and parents, are two sons, Dan. and Glen Allen Roberts, and the following brothers and sisters: Millard Beck, Provo; William Ber-nell Ber-nell Beck, and Mrs. Eleanore Packard, Pack-ard, Magna; Wayne and Alton Beck and Mrs. Ernest Harmer, Springville; Wells and Lynn Beck and Miss Cleo Beck of Palmyra. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 o'clock in the Bonneville ward chapel. Friends may call at the family home prior to the services. Interment will be in the Provo city cemetery. Seymour Gray, well known real estate and insurance man of Provo, has been confined to his home for the past two weeks with a severe case of pneumonia. Reports from the home are to the effect that the patient is now recovering. Mrs. J. D. Watson and. daughter Evelyn, who are visiting here from Los Angeles, Cal., were the guests of Dr. and Mrs. Walter T. Hasler Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Winchester L. Stacy and daughter Gloria, have returned to their home in Long Beach, Cal., after spending three weeks here with Mrs. Stacy's parents. Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Aird. Mrs. Marie A. Hoffman and Mrs. Maysell Hoffman and two children of Randolph, Utah, have been visiting visit-ing here with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Chris Andreason.
