Two sophomores, Malcolm Booth and Bill Pardoe, both of Provo, will lead the Cougars into the Salt Lake duel. Coach Dixon announced Tuesday Tues-day afternoon that Booth will receive re-ceive the No. 1 singles ranking as he did in the Aggie match. Booth will pair with Pardoe to form the Cougars' No. 1 ranking doubles duo. Pardoe and George Stoddard are about a to.ss-up for the No. ? singles ranking. S. hotel in Bingham Tuesday night. The Timps wil! open the season before Provo fans in the inaugural game set for May 9 at Timp park. Gemmell club of Bingham will furnish the opposition. Provo will play 7 Sunday games at Timp park, 4 of them being double-header double-header tilts. On Monday, July 5, on which day Fourth of July will be celebrated, Gemmell club will play an exhibition game in Provo. Tne same five teams which played last year again comprise the Industrial league: Provo, U. S. Mines, Gemmell club, Magna-Garfield, Magna-Garfield, and Pinney Beverage. All single games in Provo and Salt Lake City will start at 2:30 p. m. during the season, and doubleheaders will begin at 2 p. m.
