Vic us V V aro Rub Program On Music At Beta Sorosis An interesting biography of Frederick Chopin was given by Mrs. C. J. Hart at the meeting of Qeta Sorosis club held at the residence of Mrs. Vern H. Green wood Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Hart followed her review by playing the following Chopin compositions on the piano: "Prelude "Pre-lude in C Minor," "Polonaise in C Sharp Minor," "Nocturn In F Sharp Major," "Waltz in C Sharp Minor." and "Waltz in G Flat Major." An attractive St. Patrick scheme was featured in the tastv luncheon served. Mrs. O. H. Relief oociety Planning Dance The Third ward Relief Society is sponsoring a social to be held Wednesdav evening' Marrh 17 at I 8 o'clock in the amusement hall. in observance of the anniversary of the organization. A special feature will be the opening of a memory box, which was sealed 47 years ago. A fine program is being prepared and dancing and refreshments will follow. Qui? Edgemont Literary Club Postponed The meeting of the Edgemont Literary club scheduled for Friday, Fri-day, has been postponed for one week due to the death of James L. Smith, husband of one of the club members. Parker School Teachers Give Breakfast Complimentary to Mrs. Gussie John, who recently resigned from her teaching duties at the Parker school, a breakfast was tendered by the Parker school teachers at Keeleys Wednesday morning. Junior Auxiliary Group In Session Mrs. George Worthen gave an interesting talk on community service ser-vice at the meeting of the Junior Legion auxiliary (ages up to 11 years) held at the home of Colleen Harmon, Wednesday afternoon. Bridge Tourney Finals Set Tomorrow Final matches of the Provo Herald-Paramount theater city bridge tournament for ladies will be held on the mezzanine floor of the Paramount theater tomorrow afternoon starting at 2 p. m., and a large crowd is expected to witness' wit-ness' the games. Two matches will be played, the finals in the championship flight and the finals in the consolation conso-lation flight. Close matches are anticipated, and may be witnessed wit-nessed by any patrons of the Paramount theater tomorrow afternoon. aft-ernoon.
