President of the seminary class, George was graduated from Juab stake seminary in 1947 and received the Albert E Sella f award. He was also graduated from Juab high school in 1947 where he was active in FFA, having hav-ing served as chapter president. The BYU will hold a pep rally Friday at 7 p.m. in the Smith auditorium. The rally will be followed fol-lowed with a street dance. Saturday Sat-urday at 6:30 p.m. Y students will meet at the Newhouse hotel in Salt Lake City for another pep begin at the Newhouse hotel and: move north to the Brigham Young monument ,at the corner of South Temple and Main streets. All BYU students will gather at the monu ment where a 20-minute pep rally will be held. A floral wreath will be placed on the monument in remembrance of the great leader of the LDS church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, for whom the school was named. The BYU marching band and Cougarettes will add to the parade pa-rade through the Salt Lake City streets and following the rally will journey to the Ute stadium for their pre-game performance. Mr. Benson and Jim Hill, Jacksonville, Jack-sonville, Fla., pep rally chairman, have reecived approval from the Salt Lake City board of commissioners commis-sioners and the public safety council for the parade and rally.
