Heather Butikofer and Michael Young Butikofer and Young marry in Idaho Falls Temple Mary Ruth Cluff and Errol A. Whiting Chase Sorenson and Nahomi Dixon Cluff' and Whiting marry March 17, 2007 Dixon and Sorenson to marry in Logan Temple Patricia and J. Michael Young of Tridell, Utah, are pleased to announce the marriage mar-riage of their son Michael Jay Young to Heather Marie Butikofer, daughter of Susan and Robert Butikofer, of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Heather and Michael were married Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS Temple. An open house will be held in Tridell on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at the Tridell Ward building from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The bride is ' a graduate of Bonneville High School, Ricks College and Utai State University. Her degree is in public relations and marketing. Heather is currently employed at the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University. The groom is a graduate of Uintah High School and is currently cur-rently a junior at Utah State University. He is pursuing a degree in food science. Michael served in the Suva, Fiji LDS mission. He is currently a member of the Utah Army National Guard and has served one year in Iraq. Sandy Holmes, Jack Cluff Jr., Steven Cluff, Audree Merrell, Molly Peterson, Autum Ejsenbraun, and Glen Cluff, the children of Mary Ruth Cluff, together with Yvonne Whiting, Michael Whiting, and Anthony Whiting, the children of Errol A. Whiting, are pleased to announce the marriage of their parents. Mary and Errol were married in Vernal, Utah on Saturday, March 17, 2007. An open house to celebrate the beginning of their new life together was held in Vernal following fol-lowing the wedding ceremony. Mary and Errol will make their new home in Neola, Utah. They would like to thank everyone every-one for your support. Nahomi Dixon and Chase Sorenson have chosen to be married March 24, 2007 in the Logan Utah Temple. A reception recep-tion will be held March 31, 2007 at 475 West 100 South from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Hollis and Cindy Dixon of Vernal. She graduate from Uintah High School in 2004 and is attending Maxium Style Cosmetology School. The groom is the son of Ralph and Jeannie Sorenson of Smithfield, Utah. He graduated from Skyview High School in 2002. The couple will make their home in Smithfield. 1 1 II Happy Birthday Edward Knutti celebrates his 90th birthday on March 28. Born in Mont-pelier, Mont-pelier, Idaho on 1917, Knutti served in World War II, and has resided in Vernal for last ten years. His wife, Calpurnia, and five daughters (two in Vernal, two elsewhere in Utah, and one in Oregon) all wish him a Happy Birthday. ll . Fleece blankets and quilts donated to Turning Point The Naples Second Ward Young Women's group recently completed a service project for the new Turning Point Shelter. One of the members, Alyssa Gerber, the youth leader for the shelter, had over 65 fleece blan kets donated by the Current Topics Club of Vernal that needed to be tied. The youth group managed to tie more than 20 of the donated fleece blankets, and at the same time completed a full-size quilt, all ?1 U: A. The requirements include, among other things, completing a three-month service ser-vice project that benefits the community and promotes 4-H. Alyssa has paired up with the local Turning Point Shelter for this project, as well as other community liaisons, and has become the Youth Leader for Turning Point, providing service ser-vice in many areas. Alyssa is one of just 13 youth candidates competing across the state to become State 4-H Ambassadors.
