The Mayor's Choice award went to Cindy Shope for her '55 2-door Chevrolet. County Fair car show winners announced 61 entries consisting of cars, motorcycles, pickups, and pedal cars were part of this year's Uintah County Fair Car Show held on Saturday, August 19. "That's 11 cars more than last ear," said Carl Cobbs, one of the committee members for the show. "It is growing every year." Cobbs added, "People commented that it was an excellent excel-lent show." The Commissioners Choice award went to Gary Showalter for his '59 Ford retractable hard top. Cindy Shope was awarded the Mayor's Choice award for her '55 2-door Chevrolet. The Committee Choice award went to DeLyle Billings for his 1928 Buick Coupe and the People's Choice award was given to Car Cobbs for his '55 Studebakei Commander. Miss Uintah County, Samanthi Ufford, presented each of th four winners with trophiei made by Gene Bigelow. The Commissioners Choice award went to Gary Showalter for his '59 Ford retractable hard top.
