My wife, Jan, and I have six children --- three daughters (ages 9, 10 and 1 1) and three sons (age 13, and twins age 17). I am very excited about this major event in our lives. Being born and raised in Idaho, and having my undergraduate education in Utah, I know and love the area well. After spending the last 20 years in the St. Louis area, I'm finally coming HOME! ! ! I spent the past 13 years developing a wonderful practice in a small town, about the size of Vernal, in rural Southern Illinois. What a wonderful blessing is the gift of life, and after over three thousand deliveries, I still enjoy being a part of each unique experience. I also strive as a provider of women's health care, to be attentive to all the issues that may interfere with living a comfortable life. As an Obstetrician, I specialize in high risk pregnancies, but enjoy caring for all moms. With this in mind, I will devote my efforts to providing the best opportunity for a healthy infant. As a gynecologist, I specialize in caring for women who are peri-and post menopause, helping resolve or improve many ailments or annoyances associated with this period of life. I have extensive experience in treating bladder control issues, including conservative medical management as well as the most up-to-date menstrual management, with new options that do not require major surgery. Again, I'm excited to come to Vernal and work with your hospital and medical staff. Thanks for letting me come back home. John L.
