According to Facilities Management Group Director Jeff Calder, the building was gutted during the break, and now has new electrical wiring throughout, new plumbing, carpeting, walls, wall carpeting, heating system and air conditioning. Walking in the front door of the building, students will be greeted by an entirely new office system where once a foyer existed. Behind the windowed office complex are located the new handicapped-accessible bathrooms. Three classrooms remain, but the Institute classroom has been significantly signif-icantly enlarged. A completely new kitchen has been installed for VJHS and Institute student use. "We've needed to do something for a long time," Calder said this week.
