Their farewell will be in the Glines 1st and 2nd Ward, May 26 at 12 noon. Mrs. Mott will resume her involvement in-volvement with Coldwell Banker upon her return to Vernal. 1 & '-4 k'' 1 Marysa Lin Bowden Bowden called to San Antonio Marysa Lin Bowden, daughter of Francis K. Bowden of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Vernal, has received re-ceived a call to serve in the San Antonio mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is the sixth of ten children and the fifth child of the family to serve a mission. Prior to her mission call, she graduated from El Paso Community College with an associates associ-ates degree in Allied Health as a dental assistant. Her family moved to Texas where they own and operate oper-ate Rittcr Saddle Tree Company. He will speak Sunday, May 26, at 2:50 p.m. at the Maeser 4th Ward, 2745 W. 1000 N. Brandon Aldridge Aldridge called to New Zealand Brandon Thomas Aldridge, son of Barbara and the late Bruce Aldridge, has accepted a two-year call to serve a mission in Auckland, New Zealand. He will speak on May 26 at 12:50 p.m. at the Vernal 5th Ward chapel, 250 N. 200 W. Aldridge will enter the Mission Training center on June 5. lYIcrrell will go to U.S. Naval Academy i Ryan Dean Merrell, a senior at Uintah High School, has been accepted ac-cepted to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He will spend the next four years in Annapolis earning a Bachelor of Science degree in one of the 18 majors ma-jors available at the Academy. Ryan is considering either Physics or History as his major. Upon graduating graduat-ing from the academy, Ryan hopes to enter the pilot training program in Pensacola, Fla. Ryan will enter the academy on July 2, and the emphasis during the summer will include military indoctrination, indoc-trination, physical education, basic seamanship and sailing, small arms training, first aid and introduction to personal computers. After rigorous summer training, Merrell will begin his year as a college freshman. During the coming summers, Merrell will be introduced to the many fields of the Navy such as the I .' i Milium jft Ryan Dean Merrell Atlantic patrols, flying Navy aircraft, air-craft, diving in a nuclear powered submarine, and the duties of a junior ju-nior officer.
