At 171, Brady McClellan found himself wrestling in the toughest weight division of the tournament with five state placers competing. "The 171 division was definitely the toughest class. The coaches took longer on that class to decide the seeds than any other," Stensgard said. McClellan battled his way to the semi-finals before going down to a nationally ranked opponent and finishing fifth overall. Brady added 14 team points and had a 4-2 tournament tour-nament record. Chris Kicvcr at 189 and Mike Glincs at heavyweight ran into tough wrestlers early and did not score tournament points. 'If nothing else," Coach Stensgard concluded, Mwc got an idea of how good wc can be. All the kids had moments when they realized they could compete com-pete wiih anyone.
