Searie Todd Searie service to be held Todd Matthew Searie, 25, of Vernal, died at home Dec. 18, 1994 of complications due to cancer. He was born Sept. 21, 1969 in Pampa, Texas, a son of Todd Milton and Johnnie K. Clay Searie. He worked as a model, sales manager for Stephen Yearick Fashion of New York. He was a member of First Baptist Church, served in (he U.S. Air Force from 1988 to 1991, stationed sta-tioned in Okinawa, Japan. Graduated from Uintah High School in 1987. He is survived by his parents, Todd and Johnnie Searie, brother. Beau Scarlc, and wife, Angie, all of Vernal, Utah; sister, Brooke Gaurmer, and husband, Chris, Grand Junction, Colo.; nieces, Mandi, Megan, Maddison Searie and nephew, Cadcn Gaurmer. Grandparents, Milt and Elva Searie, Vernal, Utah; and James W. and Mildred Clay, Pampa, Texas. Great grandmother, Viola Caldwell, Vernal Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22, 1994, 11.-00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 2100 West Highway 40. Price Joe Price, 20, dies in car accident Joseph (Joe) Kayle Price, at the age of 20, left us on Dec. 17, 1994, to return to his heavenly father. He passed away in an automobile accident acci-dent coming from the mountain, one of the places he loved. Wc were blessed with Joe on Sept. 22, 1974, in Vernal, Utah. He was bom at a time when we all needed him most Joe loved to draw. He loved to hunt, it was one of his greatest passions pas-sions in life. He got his first big elk this year. He also got his first bear. He was on his way home to go lion hunting at the time of his death. Joe loved the mountains, the Book Cliffs, fishing, rodeos, bull riding, farming (sometimes), camping, his Gramps, his red truck, music as loud as thunder, and his buddies. Joe graduated from Uintah High in 1992. He was on the high school rodeo team. He loved to weld and took many welding classes. He was employed by Ouray Construction. Joe is survived by so many who loved him. His parents, John and Debbie Turncy; his sisters, Kalli Jo, Kim, Kayla; his brother, Cory (Bud); all of Jensen; his father, Danny J. Price, Berkeley, Calif.; his grandparents, George and Rose Murray, Jensen, Bcuy Tumcy, North Myrtle Beach, S.C., John and Fran Price, Vernal. Aunts and uncles, un-cles, Diner and Craig, Dorccnc and Stan, Robert. . Dak . and . Jackie. Stacy and Cathy, Johnny and Donna, Bart and Vickie, and many cousins all of Vernal, and all his buddies. Knight Lois Knight dies December 16 Lois Josephine Timothy Knight, 72, of Vernal, Utah, died Dec. 16, 1994 at the Ashley Valley Medical Center. She was born August 22, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Lewis Andrew and Inez Elizabeth Reynolds Timothy. She married Miland C. Knight on July 3, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lois was a hornemaker. She was a member of the Maeser First Ward. She served as a primary teacher for 15 years. She was also a Relief Society visiting teacher. She loved spending lime with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Timothy and Leon Timothy. Services held for Redington Dallcn Reid Redington, age 35, beloved son, husband, father, uncle and friend, passed away Dec. 17, 1994 in Vernal, Utah. Dallcn was bom Oct 7, 1959 in Cedar City, Utah, to Boyd D. and Phyllis Jean Moore Redington. He graduated from Cedar City High School and had served in the Utah National Guard. He married Rhonda Shumway in Las Vegas, Nevada, and had worked for American Gilsonite in Vernal, Utah, where he was the captain of the mine rescue team. His team was very successful in competitions throughout the United States. He was a great sportsman; loved fishing fish-ing and hunting which he enjoyed with his family and friends and was an avid bowhuntcr and black powder pow-der enthusiast. Dallcn is survived by his wife Rhonda; daughters, Dreann and Nciia; a son, Cbcync, all of Vernal; parents. Lcland and Phyllis Parry, Boyd and Pamela Redington, Cedar City, Uuh; brothers, Boyd D. (Rose) Miles, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Willard (Donna) Kunzler and Mrs. Delvin (Oral) Dieter, both of Roosevelt, Mrs. Michael (Gayle) Davis, Walnut Creek, Calif.; and a brother, Lewis L. Timothy, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1994 at the Maeser First Ward LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. Hcnniker, New Hampshire; sister, Lucinda Jcanae Stratton; sister-in-law, Kathleen Redington, Cedar City, Utah; and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 1994, at 11 a.m. in the Hullingcr-Jollcy Funeral Home, 224 East 500 South, Vernal, Utah. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time for services. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Cedar City Cemetery.
