Current regulations regula-tions require accreditation accredita-tion of asbestos workers and persons responsible for work performed in public areas. BI 1 PUBLIC NOTICE SPECIAL ELECTION FOR NEW SOIL CONSERVATION CON-SERVATION DISTRICT IN UINTAH COUNTY. In August, the Utah Soil Conservation Commission Com-mission accepted a Basin-sponsored petition to divide the Uintah Basin Soil Conservation District (SCD) by county. This division requires election of a five member board of Supervisors. Candidates were selected both by a local nominating nominat-ing committee and by public petition. SCD Supervisors are citizen representatives who understand soil and water use and various government programs designed de-signed to improve or conserve con-serve these and other related re-lated natural resources. Board decisions are made in regular meetings which are open to the public. Ballots are being mailed to principle farm and ranch operators listed with the USDA Agricultural Agricul-tural Stabilization and Conservation Service county office. Other registered reg-istered voters need to request re-quest a ballot if they wish to vote. A ballot request form may be obtained locally lo-cally from the County Cooperative Extension office or the USDA Service Ser-vice Center.
