Peterson, son of Dale and Linda Peterson, will be serving ser-ving a two year mission for the LDS Church in the California Arcadia Mission. He will have a farewell Sunday, March 23 at the Vernal 4th Ward, 235 East 600 South at 10:50 a.m. Elder Peterson will enter the Missionary Mis-sionary Training Center in Provo Thursday, April 3. He is employed by Sky West Airlines as station manager. He and his wife, Beth, have two children, Christopher Lee, 4, and Stacie, 2. They are expecting a third child at the end of May. 'Good News America' campaign begins Sunday Four area Baptist Churches will be cooperating in a national outreach ministry called, "Good News America, God Loves You". Nationally, National-ly, some 30,000 local fellowships who cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention, will be involved in week long services centered around the theme. In the Uintah Basin, First Baptist Church, Vernal, First Baptist Church of Duchesne, Roosevelt Baptist Church, and Ute Baptist Church, will be involved in the campaign from Sunday Sun-day morning, the 16th, through either the 21st or 23rd of the month. Services will begin at 7 p.m. each night at all four of the fellowships. First Baptist, Vernal, will also feature a noontime seminar, from 12 until 1 p m., Monday throuKh Friday, discussing the Christian Chris-tian Walk. Elder Greg Gardner Greg Gardiner to serve mission Elder Gregory Alma Gardner has accepted an LDS mission call to the Micronesia Guam Mission. His farewell will be Sunday, March 23 at 10:50 a.m. in the Ballard North Ward chapel east of Roosevelt on Highway 40. Elder Gardner is the son of Dan and Maxine Gardner.
