Mothers of Twins Club An over-heated stove pipe was the apparent cause of an 1:15 p.m. fire Thursday at a house owned by Barbara Bar-bara Freestone. The home, 337 South and 2nd East, was occupied by two renters at the time of the blaze. Firefighters from the 1 VernalUintah County Fire Department were on the scene for approximately ap-proximately two hours. The fire started in the attic rafters and became trapped between an old roof on the home and a new one that had been placed over the old one. There was very little fire damage, but a great deal of water damage, Dewey Paulson, assistant fire chief said. The damage to the home was confined to the attic and roof. Belongings in the home were spared damages because neighbors of the renters removed most of them. Paul figures he spends approximately approximate-ly 1,000 hours per show, including designing, building, and execution. He says it is "a labor of love." He has been designing and building sets off and on since 1966, when he was in college. The last four years he has been working on shows in conjunction with USU. Paul figures he has done a total of 25 shows. He feels that the quality of the productions pro-ductions here are equal to very good college productions, which is just one step below professional productions. Paul says this is unusually good for an area the size of Uintah Basin. Naples second graders have seafood experience "Yuk. I'm not a lish person." "Can I have fourths'.'"' 'i've never tasted seaweed before." "This shark is delicious!" These were just a few of the many comments expressed by Naples second se-cond graders as they ended an exciting unit on the ocean by having a seafood tasting day. Helpful parents prepared many pleasant and unusual dishes for the children lo experience. Hanging high overhead, while the children sampled, were dozens of fish ;ind animals the children had created and stuffed while learing about the ocean. A visit from a local scuba diver, ocean show and tell filmstrips and slides were just a lew more highlights Mrs. Gardiner's, Mrs. Southam's and Mrs. Sullivan's classes have enjoyed the past several weeks. , Vernal City Program V2 Sunday, Jan. 22, 1984 1 1 AM to 3 PM 12 PRICE BLOUSE SALE All Womens blouses in departments 272, 282, 292 and Maternity Tops in 285, Vi price Sunday.
