Family Ties Panel at the Filmmaker Lodge The Sundance Film Festival will host a Family Ties panel discussion at the Filmmaker Lodge at the Elks Lodge on Main St. on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m. The panel, which will include filmmakers Kat Candler, Craig Johnson, Hong Khaou, Maya Vitkova and Malik Vitthal will explore the complex connective tissue between parents and children, brothers and sisters and offer family portraits shaded by the weight of the past. Divorce Care and Griefshare at Mountain Life Church Mountain Life Church, 7375 North Silver Creek Rd. is offering two programs aimed at providing comfort and support for those experiencing divorce. The DivorceCare for adults and DivorceCare for Kids a session for ages 5 to 12, will be held Wednesdays beginning Jan. 15 at 6:45 p.m. Griefshare is a program aimed at providing comfort and support for those experiencing grief from the death of a loved one.
