As you travel"up the steep icy hill, white, fresh snow surrounding the road like an ocean of powdered sugar, these joyful sounds grow louder, and a dance of shimmering colors glimmer on the surface of a mound of white above. The tip of afbof comes into view, the wooden shingles glared with a thick, glossy coat of ice, the edge fringed with a fantastic array of icicles. Thick gray smoke rises into the clear navy sky, the stars shimmering. Drawing closer, the full length of the house revealing huge glass windows spotlessly portraying several family members all huddled together on the couch as the younger ones dance around, thrilled to be the.center of attention. The center point, though, is clearly the enormous deep green tree, colorful lights woven into the branches so that the delicate lights are nestled right into the needles like some beautiful growth from the limbs. The hundreds of ornaments glisten, a mass of gold and red, white and green, silver and purple. This powerful glow dances out onto the snow outside, revealing a spectrum of colors in each tiny flake. Enter this scene, and awaiting would be the living room, the thick leather couch weighted with the many smiling people as they lean back, enjoying their view of the tree, eyes occasionally moving to the children, who bargain and plead endlessly to open just one more, scampering around with seemingly endless energy. Deep red candles fill the room with an indescribable vibe, as the true feeling of love flows from person to person, making the room glow a little brighter. Rates effective 12/24/08.
