The event kicks off a series of regional competitions for the team, and offers a chance for locals of all ages to put their skills to the test. The event will take place Jan 8-9 at Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR). Saturday will feature a slopestyle competition, followed by a superpipe event on Sunday. The event is open to both snowboarders and twin-tip skiers. The competition is the creation of PCSBT head coach Michael Bell, who designed the King of the Wasatch race, as well as an entire circuit of snowboarding competitions across the Intermountain West called the Intermountain Snowboarding Series (ISS). ISS races, which Bell manages, take place at Snowbird, as well as in Montana and Idaho.
