Show j Davis readies j for annual j tourney By G.BRETT HART Sports Editor w r KAYSVILLE The Darts are gearing up to host the fourth annual Davis High School Wrestling Tour-i Tour-i nament this Saturday. I The tournament will feature a I number of the state's stronger 1 wrestling squads including Sky I View, which claimed fourth place I in last weekend's Richardson 1 Memorial tournament. I Other teams scheduled to attend include: Woods Cross, Brighton, I Cottonwood, Logan, Murray and I Union. I The Union High team from I Roosevelt won the Davis touma-I touma-I ment last year. "Sky View will probably be the f team to beat this year Davis f coach Alan Porter said. I "However, Cottonwood has a I number of tough kids, and Union is f always a good team,' ' Porter added, j One of the tournament's key I matches will be a 130-pound I grudge match between Curtis I Bingham of Sky View and Jason Robinson of Davis. J Robinson lost twice to Bingham f in the Box Elder tournament last ""weekend by 2-point margins. Robinson's second loss to Bingham came in overtime. |
