T S ,,' , -At I BOUNTIFUL Christine Wolf went clothes shopping for her daughter and the staggering high prices were "so unfair" she decided, decid-ed, "I'll do my own store." As a result, Yours Mine and Ours opened its doors on Nov. 5, 1990 in downtown Bountiful, 415 South 200 West, featuring the retail sale, on consignment, of barely-used clothing of the well-to-do in upscale Bountiful. The store resells men's, women's and children's clothing, shoes and accessories. In addition, there are seasonal items. Winter features include in-clude used ski clothing and equipment; equip-ment; golfing attire and equipment are on sale in the spring and summer. "People are surprised at my pricing. I price things the way I as a shopper would like to see them how I would buy them in another store," Wolf said. "I have suits that would sell for $500 new. Guess Jeans that sell for $60 to $75 in the (regular) stores, I have for $15 and they're new. "This is my very first time to own and manage a store," Wolf said. "I got the idea when I went shopping for a dress for my daughter and ended up having to pay $80. 1 didn't think that was fair and I don't think other mothers think it's fair either. "So I said, Til do my own. I know how to do it and I know mothers would appreciate it ' 4 'Its (the store's) two-fold purpose pur-pose is to help mothers keep closets clean and a little cash flow coming in and a nice place to shop for used clothing," Wolf said. "It's also a place for the public to sell their used golf and ski equipment equip-ment without running an ad and sitting sit-ting home and waiting for the telephone to ring. I offer an alternative alter-native to a garage sale. People don't get much at garage sales." Right now, "My store is jammed," Wolf added. "I am full, which is the purpose for this first inventory sale. "When I accept clothing, I accept ac-cept only clothing that is in season, on hangers, clean and salable. I don't want bags of clothing brought in. If I have to deal with it like that, I don't want to, because I handle thousands of pieces." In addition to Bountiful, where do the buyers come from? "I have quite a bit of northern traffic Kaysville, Farmington; I've reached into Rose Park. It's been very successful,' Wolf said.
