Show Velk Smith Vella Billings Smith, long lime resident of Vernal, dd Dec. 21, in Bountiful. She was tyni Aug. 26, 1891 in Jensen, the .econd of eight children bom p Alfred Nelson Billings and Ace Elvira Orser. Graduated from BVJ May 31, 1912. Taught schoo in Jensen. Married Driver Edwin Smith Dec 22, 1915 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1962. Active member of the LDS Church. Member of DUP, Business and Professional Women's Clubs, owned and operated TJte Indian Trading Post She is survived by son "B" Maurice and his wife Alma, Bountiful; Boun-tiful; daughter and son-in-law, Miriam and Robert Lenz of Jackson Wyo.; daughter-in-law Marion Smith of Canyon Lake Calif.; 21 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Eldon P. Billings, Vernal, and Cecil Billings, Pocatcllo, Ida. Preceded in death by sons, "B" Edwin, "B" Orser and Larry; daughter, Shirley Parmacek, son-in-law, LoUis Parmacek and daughter-in-law, Delma Smith. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 27 in the Bountiful Boun-tiful 4th Ward Chapel under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful Boun-tiful Mortuary.
