Show Junior prom set at BHS By TODD KELSEY Hello, and great news from the orange of BHS: We've made it! The halfway mark has come and gone, semester finals are over and we seniors are on our final sprint. Wow, it feels pretty nice to have it winding down. iave J Junior prom is going to be Feb. 22. Please ask any way you want to as long as it is legal. From what I understand, the theme will be "Yellow Submarine," which kind of brings the whole hippy thing to my mind. I'll try to keep you informed in-formed on that one. This year it will be an informal dance, and we're going go-ing to ask you guys to keep costs down. C'mon guys, here's a chance to take her to where you'd go without a date, your favorite burger place. Bountiful basketball is looking real good, and crowd support is even better. We might have to be opening that top section of our bleachers here soon if we have the kind of crowd that we had against West. The team is really working hard, and everybody seems to be taking a major role. I One night it might be da' big 1 guys, Roger Adams and Dustin J O'Brien, and the next night the ju-1 nior Mason Jacobs or senior Brad Beck might be on and leading the Braves. Jamie Jones and Jeff Jepp-sen Jepp-sen look really good this year, and when Dave Mackay is hitting, look out. This year's team has no front runner or real star, just a lot of good solid players that deserve our support. sup-port. Wrestling is in region right now, and two seniors have stepped it up for the competition: Marshall Jones and Bryan Smith. Both have placed at recent tournaments, and good luck to the fellows in region. All right, that should do it until next week when this article should appear under the same old title, so until then stay healthy and relaxed. I know I will be a little more relaxed relax-ed now that the first semester's grades are over. We are on our way, my friends! |
