Show Shot disrupts dance at DHS KAYSVTLLE - The Kaysville Police Department has charged a 19-year-old Davis High student with brandishing a firearm and illegally discharging a firearm at a high school dance Friday night, Jan. 24. Kaysville Police Officer Brent Ward responded to Davis High on Monday, Jan. 27 when school officials reported they had learned of the firearm incident at the dance. Information from the witnesses indicate in-dicate that two groups of juveniles attending atten-ding the dance got into an argument outside out-side of the building where the dance was taking place. One of the students is alleged alleg-ed to have brandished a small automatic pistol and fired a round into the air. The 19-year-old student was arrested at Davis High yesterday, Jan. 27 and charged charg-ed with the firearm violations both in which are class B misdemeanors. The student will appear in Kaysville Circuit Court on the charges. There were no injuries to any persons in connection with this incident. |
