Retired -Federal Employees will meet at the Golden Years Center on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 12:30 p.m. for their regular monthly meeting. Attorney Lee Bishop will address the meeting witii a discussion of estate planning techniques including wills, trusts and the use of a power of attorney. at-torney. This subject has been covered before, but many elderly individuals still do not have a current will or other document outlining their wishes for distribution of their estates in the event of death. In the event no valid will is found, rnuch of the estate will be consumed by probate court costs and attorney's fees, and distribution will be made by the probate court.
