Show I - '1 ii JUNE CRAWFORD YOLANDA HARE Nurses retire from Lakeview Two of Lakeview Hospital's many experienced nurses retired recently re-cently after a combined total of 35 years of nursing. Yolanda Hare began her nursing : career 1 7 years ago as a nurse assistant assis-tant at the South Davis Hospital. She had spent one year as a housekeeper before deciding she wanted to be. part of nursing. She has since worked with the moms in Lakeview Hospital's maternity ward. Ms. Hare, a native German, met her husband, Frank, when he was stationed in Germany during World War II. They have 10 children. June Crawford, a registered nurse, is an 1 8-year veteran of nurs ing. She, too, began at South Davis Hospital and then moved to Lakeview when it opened in 1976. - She became a nursing supervisor at ; that timrand has actually been in charge of the- hospital on many weekends and evenings.. Ms. Crawford has been, and will continue as, the hospital's instructor of how to cope with caneefTShe volunteers much of- her time at Lakeview and with the American Cancer Society. She? and her husband, hus-band, Robert, have four children. "Both of these nurses have been totally dedicated to Lakeview Hospital and its patients," said Marion Loesch, director of nursing at Lakeview. "We are really sorry to see them go." |
