They drove into Bountiful, Monday afternoon. There were eight of them but since their arrival one has been called to Florida on account of illness in, his ,.T. family. These eight missionaries, with -their leader, or a similar number, of missionaries have made this circuit a number of times. They have been moving south .from Yellowstone , Park visiting practically every home. They are camped in the shade of the big trees on the tabernacle block but will hold their meetings in the street in front of the drug store. The first meeting will be held this Friday Fri-day evening at 8 o'clock. Friendly questions, will be allowed after each leering. Seats will be provided. eautiful music will also be rendered, according to their leader. When visiting the homes, they will explain booklets about the Bible Bi-ble teachings, about Christ and heaven and how to get there. Everybody is urged to attend. Hearing Hear-ing new views ought to stimulate Bible study says the elder and this is one great purpose of the meetings. They sell Bibles. , They . have Testaments they sell for a very low price. . These missionaries serve without salary and belong to several denominations. de-nominations. . . . i 75 Years Ago in Davis County July 10, 1914 Charles Morris, a colored man, who had worked for former mayor, Ezra Thompson of Salt Lake and for the Lambert Paper Company of the same place, was killed Saturday evening while walking southward on the Bamberger track on the first . curve south of Sidney.'The train was going in the same direction that he was and he had stepped off the track to let it pass but as it was on a " curve it is thought that fie did not make enough allowance for the leaning of cars and as the car passed, pass-ed, it struck him, breaking his neck. For a while they could scarcely tell how he was killed as his body was so well in tact ; Inspite of the fact he had resided in Utah 23 years, authorities experienced' experi-enced' a great deal of difficulty in locating his home or relatives but, finally a domestic in the former ' Mayor Thompson home solved the problem.
