K t I I " ' GAY BROWN ' The ravenous musical comedy, ' 'Little Shop of Horrors" will begin its summer run at the Lagoon Opera House June 22, and play 8:30 p.m. 1 Wednesday through Saturdays until Aug. 26. Starting July 1, all Saturday Satur-day shows at 5:30 p.m. will feature a special post show demonstration of the strange and exotic "Audrey II" plant puppets. This show is particularly par-ticularly suited for families and childrens ages eight and up. This production is produced by Jeffry P. Belnap (JPB International Events), a free lance special events producer now residing in Bountiful. Mr. Belnap has insisted that this production be edited to suit a family audience. "Families and their children ages eight and up can en- . joy this show and its outrageous comedy" without fear of the ex- f cessive vulgarity or violence," says the producer. Edward J. Gryska is directing an exciting, talented and award winning winn-ing cast Karen Nielson, playing the "sweet, but girl-wifh-a-past-Audrey ' ' is reprising her highly acclaimed ac-claimed performance of the same role at the Salt Lake Acting Com pany in 1986. A surprising young talent from Brighton High School, J. Alan Brodine, will be Seymour. The "guy-you-love-to-despise' demented dentist .will be played by Troy Lunt, a Lagoon Opera House celebrity. Ronette, Chiffon, and Crystal, the Street Urchin Trio, will be played by three exceptional singers, Kori Ramsay, Rebekah Folsom, and Kitchell Jones, respectively. respec-tively. : ., 1 ; Audrey II will be performed by Trevor Olsen (Manipulation) and Frank Gerrish (voice), both with extensive ex-tensive theatrical careers. ' Jeff Belnap is directing the music and Randy Kempton, Michael Johnson, Jeff Gutke, Garret Gregor, and John Clark will make up the orchestra.
