At 6 ; a.rn., a checklist is covered by two inspectors inspec-tors who personally walk the entire track. "Their only job every day is to inspect the safety of the coaster,' ' explained Andrew. Even though the -ride is considered to be ,54, years., old, every board and piece of track in replaced within a ten-year period. Equipment is also - updated periodically due to advances in technology. . ';- Once the pair walks the track and completes the checklist, the list is given to a ride supervisor who also makes an inspection. The list then goes to the ride operator who veri- fies the inspections. This procedure is completed revery day before the; - ride is opened to the public t v Further mspections are conducted con-ducted by ASTM, an organization made up of(state and local government govern-ment represerrtatixer' and people tnota private industry.
