Show If someone told me to "go fly a kite today," I'd thank them and say, "don't mind if I do." Because after all of this winter's literal mountains of snow, street glaciers, muddy water, leaky roofs and salty slush, flying a kite sounds absolutely delightful de-lightful Actually, I almost got hit on the head with a kite today. It was huge, ' gorgeous, multi-colored and fell off the ski rack in my garage. This cloth kite was purchased by my daughter while she did a business internship in Washington, D.C. through BYU. I asked her to pick it up when I had neglected to do so on a visit there to see her. My next to youngest child and I went there last year to visit Becky after he found my Pepsi can in the garbage, pulled off the tab which said "fly. He had won a trip to Washington, D.C. The trip leads us to the Smithsonian Institution Air and Space Museum. It was fabulous! And the moments yet to come when the wind whips up and the March sky is blue and inviting, when we free ourselves from the drabness of winter win-ter by flying our kite.
