Ralph Dibble with interment inter-ment in the Ogden City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ken Olsen, Steve Swaner, Justin Philamalee, Sean Swaner, Kendall Neuman, and Shane Swaner. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Ter-ry Sinclair, Kelly Neuman, K.C. Neuman, Tim Sinclair and Kevin Sinclair. LAYTON Bessie Vincent Jenkin Staley, 88, of 1378 W. Gentile, Gen-tile, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1988 in a Clearfield nursing home of cancer. She was born June 10, 1900, in Falmouth, Cornwall, England, a daughter of Robert Andrew and Bessie Landry Jenkin. She married T. William Staley July 3, 1918, in North Ogden. He died Oct. 12, 1959. She had lived in England until the age of ten when her family immigrated im-migrated to the United States. She had lived in West Layton the remainder re-mainder of her life. She was a graduate of Davis High School and a member of the Layton Second LDS Ward. She and hesjhusband were owners own-ers of Staley's Cafe in Layton for several years and together with a daughter they owned and operated Staley's Market in West Layton ' since 1939. She enjoyed playing the piano, doing handiwork and music. Surviving are two daughters, B. Amelia Kerr, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Claude L. (Naomi) Olsen, Layton; three grandchildren grandchil-dren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, one sister and one great-grandson. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop G. Michael Stevenson on Aug. 12.
