Six earn Eagles the Centerville Stake Young Women's organization. The six Eagle Scouts appreciate all the help given them by their dedicated de-dicated scout leaders, David Isbell, Neil Carmack and Craig Jewett. Six scouts from Troop 833 have earned the rank of Eagle and will be honored at an Eagle Court of Honor Hon-or Aug. 30 at the Rowland Way Chapel in Centerville. They are Richard Blackham, Eran Campbell, Camp-bell, Brett Christian, Brian R. Harward, Har-ward, Matthew Isbell and Scott L. Nielson. RICHARD BLACKHAM Richard Blackham, son of Steve and Susan Blackham of Centerville, Centervil-le, completed the majority of the Eagle Scout requirements as a member of Troop 130 in Lake Oswego, Ore. His scouting experience has been varied. He has hiked the Oregon Ore-gon Coast, canoed the Wellanette River, planted fir trees in the Filla-mook Filla-mook Forest and explored Mount St. Helen's. For his Eagle project, he designed de-signed and then supervised the construction and installation of three park benches at his former school in Lake Oswego. ERAN CAMPBELL Eran Campbell is the son of Fredric and Sharon Campbell. He is a member of Troop 833, Centerville Center-ville 12th Ward. For his Eagle project, pro-ject, Eran installed survey monuments monu-ments at the Centerville City Cemetery to help locate grave sites or lots. Eran was a patrol leader and counselor in the Deacons quorum. He will be in the ninth grade at Centerville Junior High and enjoys soccer and baseball. A special thanks to all of his leaders. BRETT CHRISTIAN Brett Christian is the son of Clark and Gwen Christian. He plays the violin and the piano. Brett was just released as the Deacons quorum president and is troop senior patrol leader. For his Eagle project, Brett made 12 flannel boards and seven window blackouts for the Rowland Way Chapel. Brett likes to hunt, fish and play sports. He was also on the high honor roll at Centerville Junior High School, where he will be in the eighth grade this year. BRIAN R. HARWARD Brian R. Harward is an enthusiastic enthu-siastic scout and tries hard to live by the scout oath and the scout law. He loves the outdoors and particularly enjoys backpacking in the high country, cross-country skiing in the back country, and riding rid-ing his mountain bike in any country. He completed Junior Leadership Training and received the Silver Moccasin Beads in recognition for that experience. Brian is also a member of the Order of the Arrow. Brian has been accepted to attend the National Scout Jamboree Jam-boree at Fort A. P. Hill, Va. in 1989. His brother, Carvel Royal, also an Eagle Scout, attended the World Jamboree in Australia earlier ear-lier this year. MATTHEW ISBELL Matthew Isbell is the son of David and Ruth Ann Isbell. He has enjoyed his trail to Eagle and the many different experiences it has offered him. He has served as quartermaster quar-termaster and senior patrol leader. Matt enjoys sports and the camping camp-ing activities which scouting has provided for him. Matt is interested in people. For his Eagle project, he collected and restored books for the Primary Children's Hospital. SCOTT L. NIELSON Scott L. Nielson is the son of Leon J. and Laraine Nielson. He will be a ninth grade student at Centerville Junior High where he is a member of the band. He is an accomplished handyman and landscape land-scape technician and he maintains the yards and sprinkler systems for several families. Scott has achieved the Arrow of Light and has served as patrol leader lead-er as well as other assignments.
