Show Frosh put streak on line Saturday The University freshmen football team puts their 16-game win streak back on the line this Saturday at 2 p.m. in Robert L. Rice Stadium, when they host tough Mesa College of Colorado. The game will be the second, and last home game for the young Utes. Last weekend they picked up their first win of the year as they humiliated Snow College 35-6. Head Frosh Coach Dale Johnson was pleased with his team's showing in their win over Snow. "It was a great game," he explained, "we are as good as we thought we were." Johnson said that everyone played up to their potential and that there were some pleasant surprises. Best of the frosh was running back Bob Ladouceur who had a field day. He rushed for 1 13 yards in 11 carries and scored three touchdowns touch-downs including a 61-yard scamper. |
