Show 'an alternate voice' Poets to read works The type of poetry the group is interested in, according to Kemp-ton Kemp-ton is "both against cultural and counter-cultural poetry." Some poets who will read their works are Charles Potts, Kempton, Greg Stewart, Craig Crowther, Robin Duncan and Doug Anderton, but Kempton points out that anyone is welcome to read as well. Litmus Publications recently helped help-ed with the publication of "Con-cours," "Con-cours," the Westminster College magazine. Litmus Publications is sponsoring sponsor-ing an open poetry reading Tuesday Tues-day and the first Tuesday of every month through June at the Salt Lake Library Auditorium, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to come to hear the poetry or read their own works. Karl Kemption of Litmus Publications Publica-tions said the purpose of hte open reading is to give "an alternate voice." He claims the University is unresponsive to his group and it's poetry. "In fact, it is condescending," condes-cending," he said. |
