Steve Killpack said "Most students comply willingly to the dress standards, if not accepting them." According to Mr. Killpack there has been little trouble with studentsgoing along with the dress standards. "There isn't the resentment here of the University. We can sense a feeling of resentment coming from the University, though," said Mr. Killpack. "In my own opinion, it's jealousy." Mr. Killpack explained that the only sort of animosity is on the sports competitive basis. The family system at BYU is still going strong. In the system a "father," "mother," and "children (sisters and brothers)" are appointed by the ward bishops. Of the family system Mr. Killpack said "It's a good place for students to have an instant social life. The family also helps a person quickly adjust and it offers security to the person." Does BYU push the institution of marriage? Steve Killpack said "Marriage is emphasized in the classes, but whether they get married while attending BYU is not discussed." The "senior blues" is a term given to senior women attending BYU who have not yet been married, Mr. Killpack pointed out. "Vanity fair" is another term used on the campus of BYU.
