Show And more honors The University chapter of Sigma Xi, a national honorary society dedicated to encouraging research for the benefit of humanity, has announced 79 new members 43 associates and 36 full members. The initiates include graduate and undergraduate students as well as faculty in the physical sciences, anthropology and psychology. The major requirement for membership in the society is promise or accomplishment in scientific research, according to Dr. Sherman R. Dickman, professor of biochemistry and president of the organization. He said that associate membership is offered to those who show promise in research, while full membership is given to those faculty and students who have achieved significant complishments. Dr. Wayne S. Brown, associate dean of the College ol Engineering, is the secretary treasurer of Sigma Xi. The initiation ceremonies will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in 277 Union Building.
