Show Workshop : a system of computer filed resource lectures and demonstrations are open to the public. The information system was designed and implemented by the U.S. Office of Education. A representative will describe the function, structure and use of ERIC, and explain procedures for using the resources either through computer facilities or by manual methods on Wednesday and Thursday at 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. in the Union Alumni Lounge. Demonstrations of the ERIC-DIALOC interactive computer com-puter system will be given in the lounge continuously from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the two-day workshop. Capabilities of the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) will be of particular in-, terest to language instructors and students anticipating any kind ot research in languages or linguistics, according to Dr. Arva Streadbeck, professor of languages. "This information system will eventually include every article published in the literature of languages and linguistics, as well as a complete file on teaching methodology, he predicted.
