K(i A questionnaire asking if funding to The Daily Utah Chronicle should be optional will be distributed to all those students who vote in the final ASUU elections along with their ballot. The questionnaire, originated by assembly member Brent Petty of the College of Medicine, is the result of committee recommendations recom-mendations concerning Bill 72. Bill 72 was introduced into the assembly for the purpose of affording the students the right of support or non-support of the Chronicle. According to the bill, any student who elected not to support the Chronicle, would automatically have that portion of his student activity fees given to his college council. As it now stands, 65 cents a quarter is given to the Chronicle from each student's fees. The bill was considered by the Community and National Affairs committee of the student assembly. assem-bly.
