Show Drown BYU 10-4 Polo team fishes out third win The University's water polo team bettered it's undefeated record Friday in the Natatorium with a big win over BYU, 10-4. The men who did the scoring were Russ Lauber and Craig Burns, who each had three, Mark Basanez who got two and Jay Bruce and Rados who each scored once." The game got off to a sluggish start, and the only goal in the first quarter was Utah's. BYU scored it's first time midway in the second quarter to make the score 3-1, but then the Utes again scored and the half ended with Utah, in the lead, 5-1. In the third period, the Utes got two and BYU only one to make it 7-2. The final period saw Utah score three times and BYU twice, snce early in the period, and the :inal goal of the game, with only me second left. The win boosted he teams record to 3-0. Coach ay hopes to show well at the ;ames at the Air Force Academy Tournament next weekend. "I hink the toughest teams we'll lave to face are New Mexico Wyoming, Air Force and Colorado state, in that order. I hope lowever, that we are in there somewhere, preferably on top." The squad has been trying to diversify their attack in order to get more balance. One of the team members commented after the game, "apparently . it's working!"
