Mr. Meacham, a former student of all three teachers and afterwards after-wards close friends until their deaths, will begin the programwith a small introduction to the "Maud May" method with a short Shakespeare Shake-speare reading. Other works presented will be "The Flying Yorkshireman" by Eric Knight, which Dr. Smith used as a favorite reading, and "The Man with the Blue Guitar," by Wallace Stevens. The selection from Stevens will be accompanied by Rodrigo with the background music, "Concerto de Aranjuez." |
