The Utes lost a squeaker, 5-4, to the Uni- versity of Southern California on Tuesday. Despite the loss the Utes looked good with two wins in the singles competition and two wins in the three doubles matches. USC is the current National Collegiate Col-legiate Athletic Association Tennis Ten-nis champion. University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) handed the Utes their second loss of the West Coast trip, 7-2. The Redskins could only manage a win in the singles and a doubles victory.
