Show national engineering honorary selects 22 new members Tau Beta Pi, National Engineering Honorary Society, has elected 22 members to the Utah chapter for their scholarship and character. Membership requirements are that the student must be In the upper one-fifth of his senior class or the upper one-eighth of his junior class. Initiation ceremonies will be held April 24 in Merrill Engineering, with a banquet following, for these students: Civil Engineerng: D. Briant Adams and Tony Furano, juniors; Chemical Engineering: Keith Neilson, junior; Chris Russell and James Wilhelm, seniors; Electrical Engineering: Ray Alberts, junior; Laron Huddleston, senior; Don Johnson, senior; Kenneth Morris, junior; Dennis Pulsipher, junior; Julian Rasmussen, senior; Tom Rohlfing, senior; Pat Rose, junior; Mark Stevens, junior; and Wayne Sward, senior; Industrial Engineering: Anthony Au, senior; Material Science and Engineering: Paul Lessing, junior; Mechanical Engineering: Steve Anderson, junior; Ron Lloyd, senior; sen-ior; Dennis Thompson, junior; Ernest Wessman, junior; Metallurgical Engineering: Randy Scheffel, senior. Tau Beta Pi was founded in 1885 to confer honor upon those distinguished dis-tinguished students in the field of engineering. |
