Show atmen land third in CSC meet State with 39 and Fort Lewis with 20. The Redskins took three individual in-dividual titles. Sammy Arishita, in the 118-pound class, defeated Colorado's Mike Johnson, and Glen Kawa decisioned Clarence Ross of CSC in the 142-pound class. Charles Shepherd was the The Redskin wrestling team returned re-turned from Greeley, Colo., Sunday Sun-day with a third place in the Colorado Colo-rado State College Invitational Wrestling Tournament held Saturday Satur-day evening. Colorado State College won the tournament by accumulating 93 points to second place Colorado State University's 80. Utah scored 68 points to slip by Wyoming with 65. Colorado University was fifth with 5 1 points, followed by Montana State with 41, Weber Utes' third individual winner, de feating Gary Hill of Wyoming in the 158-pound division. Among other Utes in the meet were Jeff Winderlin, who gained second place in the 134-pound class, Paul Sheridan, fourth in the 150-pound group, and Scott Tennis, third in the 167-pound division. The Redskins are the 1969 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) champions. |
