Show Carnival to acquaint students with U organizations "The Games Students Play" is the theme for the annual organizations carnival to be held in the Union on Friday afternoon and evening. Sponsored by the Advisory Cabinet and the Programs Council, this annual event is designed to acquaint students with the many organizations and groups active on the University campus. Each organization will set up a booth at the carnival showing the benefits of belonging to or participating in its activities. The carnival will also feature a Union Open House, to give students an opportunity to sample some of the many activities and facilities available for use in the Union. The movie, "Judgement at Nuremberg," starring Spencer Tracy will be shown in the Union Little Theater from 1 to 4 p.m., and from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. The charge for the movie will be 75 cents. Other Union facilities, such as the bowling alley and the games room will be free. There will also be a stomp and a pig chase. |
