Rousselot, will survey the political spectrum for students stu-dents Wednesday at noon in the Union Little Theatre. Rousselot's speech, sponsored by the Hinckley Institute of Politics, Poli-tics, is free and open to the public. Clarifies Birchers' Beliefs Rousselot, a member of t h e 87th U.S. Congress from the 25th District of California, clarified goals of the Society for representatives. repre-sentatives. Speaking in June, 1962, he told Congressmen that the Society maintains that "For 30 years we have had a steady stream of governments which have regarded our laws and even our Constitution as mere pieces of paper, which should not be allowed to stand in the way of what they, in their omniscient benevolence, considered to be 'for the greatest good of t h e greatest number.' " The Society, he said, denounces denounc-es "democracy" and advocates a "constitutional Republic". This quarrel, according to some political scientists, is mainly a matter of semantics.
