In one night Brigham Young's Cougars set three new conference confer-ence team records and tied another in a game with Utah. The BYU marks were 98 field goals attempted, 62 points in one half, and 115 total points. Their 69 rebounds tied Arizona State's 1963 conference record. In the same game, the Cougars and Utes shared a pair of two-team two-team records by attempting 195 field goals and rolling up a combined com-bined score of 215 points.
