Show Board Appoints Two Speakers For Graduation Both Orators To Graduate With High Honors Awards Sheryl Larsen Allen (Mrs. John C.) and Don Yacktman were named as commencement speakers for the 1965 graduation. THE TWO graduating seniors were selected by a student faculty committee representing the graduating class and the faculty fac-ulty commencement committee. Commencement exercises will be Friday, June 11 at 7 p.m. in the Stadium Bowl. Diplomas will be conferred. On Saturday morning, June 12, the diplomas will be awarded in the separate Colleges. MRS. ALLEN is an elementary education major and will be teaching in the Davis County School district next year. She plans to get a masters degree in elementary education in the near future. Mrs. Allen served the University as both a sophomore and senior class officer. She was Military Ball Queen and Mechanical Engineering Queen. SHE IS affiliated with Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Army Sponsors, Spon-sors, Alpha Lambda Delta, Spurs, Cwean and Phi Kappa Phi. Mr. Yacktman is an economics econom-ics major and plans to attend Harvard University in the fall on the MBA program. MR. YACKTMAN is a senior class officer and has been active act-ive on Advisory Council, Student Senate, Freshmen Orientation Committee and the Student Behavior Be-havior Committee. He also served serv-ed as "Chronicle" Associate sports editor. He is a member of Skull and Bones, Owl and Key and Phi Kappa Phi. Both Mrs. Allen and Mr. Yacktman are graduating with high honors.
