One of these concerns a University's scientific research and the time worn question "Can a professor adequately meet the demands of a teaching position and at the same time afford to work on research projects?" Dr. Fletcher feels the answer is definitely yes and went so far as to say that a teacher's ability as an instructor instruc-tor may suffer if he does not keep up to date in his field. THE WORST teacher in the world can be a success if he is a creative thinker, said Dr. Fletcher. He explained that such a professor often times inspires students to dig out information and find in the process a great deal of satisfaction in learning.
