Show Frat Offers New Award The University of Utah and Utah State University are among 75 colleges col-leges and universities interested in accepting from the Sima Chi fraternity fra-ternity a new award encouraging student persistency to graduate. THE FRATERNITY, through its Sigma Chi Foundation educational arm, has offered to furnish a wall plaque to be awared annually to the fraternity or sorority on each campus, camp-us, graduating the highest percentage percent-age of its original freshman class. The award has been offered to each of the 138 institutions in the United States and Canada where Sigma Chi is located. Only 12 schools have declined the offer. Special rules for determining the the winning group each year may be determined on the individual campus, according to Haity V. Wade, Sigma Chi Grand Consul (International President) and originator ori-ginator of the proposal. |
