Show ' California Band Marches Off Sfith Ute Drills Dr. Forrest D. Stoll, director ol the University band which plays for each home Ute football -game, SaTcRarged that the University of California (in Berkeley) has stolen some of the University band's marching patterns. - Dr. Stoll told a Chronicle reporter re-porter that he noticed a student taking notes , from the sidelines . ! during a practice one afternoon tins week. He asked the person what was going on, and the band director reportedly was told "I'm taking notes for the Eerkeley tad." Utah plays the California ; school Saturday. Dr. Stoll noted that in 1958 the trekked to Berkeley, arrived day before game time.
