Show Stake Road Show Was 'Successful' The Beaver Stake MIA Roadshow Road-show was presented in all three Beaver County communities last Monday and Tuesday, and was labeled an "outstanding performance" by those who attended. at-tended. Theme of the show was "Memories." The Beaver Second Ward act "Remembering," with 60 performers per-formers participating, was selected se-lected to be presented at Cedar City, at a later date. Alternate-act, Alternate-act, "Memories of Seasons" by the Beaver Third Ward, has 62 performeis. Other wa. Js and the themes: Beaver Fust, "Attic Antic," with 35 penormers; Minersville, "Old Playhouse," 64 performers; perform-ers; Milford First, "Garden of Memories," 38 performers, and Milford Second, "Memories of MIA," with 65 preformera. A quarte from each ward presented seveial musical numbers, num-bers, with the Milford Second Ward quartet selected to perform per-form at Cedar City. Dramt. director for the stake is Mrs. Anna Rae Carter of Minersville, and judges were Mrs-. V. C. Frame, Miss Sidney Reeding, and Miss Carol Williams. |
